Women's Club Lacrosse Fall Short to Crosstown Rival

Fairfield, CT-  SHU Women's Club Lacrosse fell short to their crosstown rivals, Fairfield U, 12-6. Christina Calabrese (C.C.) had two goals for the pioneers as well as her teammate, Lauren Lyver. Caitlyn Dicioccio had an assist and a goal during the game. Amanda Puccio had a goal and was another player who contributed to the Pioneers points. In net, Holly Groff & Maria (Jerry) Cipriano, split the game making big time saves. The key player of the game was awarded to Lauren Lyver who made her presence known on offense. The Pioneers are looking to schedule another game against Fairfield University for a competitive rematch later this spring.
