For the first time in history, SHU's club golf team competed in the NCCGA National Championship tournament, hosted by the PGA. Seniors

Nick Wingfield made up the 4 pairs of golfers representing SHU in New Mexico. Tichi, who placed first at the regional tournament to help the team qualify for the national championship, was the top finisher for the team, tied for 118 out of 219 participants. McCarthy had the biggest jump between days 1 and 2, moving up 36 places in the standings. Walles had the biggest individual progress between rounds, shooting 11 strokes better on day 2. The team looks forward to continued success and pushing to qualify again next season.
