    Offensive Coordinator Club Football Coach

Nick Bartoli, originally from Falls, PA by way of Wyoming Area High School, enters his 3rd year with the Club Football team, his second as the Offensive Coordinator. Coach Bartoli originally joined the club football team several years ago after completing his undergraduate degree at SHU and playing for the D1 football team.

During his time in undergrad, Nick started every game (42) for the D1 program playing for Head Coach Mark Nofri. Nick also played for Coach Jones while he was also a coach for the D1 program. Nick started on the offensive line for both the 2013 and 2014 NEC Championship teams, protecting All-NEC Quarterback RJ Noel during his record setting seasons. Bartoli was part of the offensive line who helped lead the Pioneers to record setting seasons on the ground, including most rushing yards in a season (1,669 – Keshaudas Spence), rushing attempts in a season (281 – Spence), 4th most rushing TD’s in a season, 6th most yards per-carry (5.9).

Bartoli also helped set career records for multiple players including rushing yards – career for Spence (3,745), Career Touchdowns for Tyler Dube (38), Rushing Attempts (Spence – 756), Passing Yards (RJ Noel – 9,016), Receiving Yards (Dube – 3,206).

In addition to the individual records that Bartoli was a part of, he also started games for the Pioneers in which they set team single game and season records including Most Points in a game (78 – Chowan, 2013), Points in a Half (50 – Chowan, 2013) Touchdowns in a game (11 – Chowan, 2013), Total Yards in a game (613 – RMU, 2014), Most Points in a Season (Tied 450 – 2013), Rushing Yards in a Season (3,077 – 2013) and Total Yards in a Season (5,293 – 2013).

After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Masters in Education, Bartoli joined the club football team as the Offensive Line coach in 2016. There he was part of an offense that had the best passing season in club football history, with QB Will Kassar completing over 80% of his passes that season with over 11 yards per-reception. Both Kassar and Guard Jake Alton made All-American honors that season.

Bartoli left SHU after that season and took a job with the Southwestern CT Grizzlies before moving on to coach in High School. After several seasons away, Bartoli returned to SHU to become the Offensive Coordinator of the Club Football team. In his first game, the Pioneers set the single game rushing record with 371 yards from scrimmage with two running backs each going over 100 yds.

Nick and his new bride Lily currently reside in Fairfield, CT.
