Sacred Heart Club Sports

Dave White is the sailing head coach and program director. This is his tenth year coaching at the university, but this will be his 21st year coaching in total. Before joining Sacred Heart, Coach White attended University of Connecticut where he was on the sailing team and was named team captain his senior year.

He has founded and directed SHU Sailing to become a “Super Club” competing throughout New England. Without the help of Coach White, SHU sailing would not be where it is today. He also helped coach at the Stamford Yacht Club in the junior Sailing Keelboat Program. He is now married with two children and loves to spend time at Sail Black Rock Foundation.
