Fernando Pires, 'Coach Fern' joins the Sacred Heart Mens Club volleyball team for the 2024 season. A double graduate from Sacred Heart University, both with accounting degrees. He returns to his alma mater to begin his coaching career.
Much of his time at SHU was taken up on the court. He played on the Club Volleyball team for all 5 years that he attended the University. In his early years he was primary a DS for the team and progressed to being the starting setter in his last 3 years. Coach Fern joins the program looking to make a positive change and guide the team to a championship season.
