Sacred Heart Club Sports

Coach Jon Huzil is the assistant sailing coach here at Sacred Heart. This is his first year coaching at SHU, but previously coached at the University of Connecticut as the assistant coach. His Alma Mater is UCONN, where he was on the sailing team all four years as a crew/skipper and graduated in 2017. 

He attended Fairfield Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he was a four-time Crew in the CT State Championship Regatta at Coast Guard Academy. He was heavily influenced by his high school coach Jay Lipp and former college teammate Brian Pracon. His hobbies are flying, baking, acting, and magic tricks!
