Fairfield, CT - Sacred Heart Men's Rugby has been ranked #29 by Goff Rugby Report in the top teams of the last 5 years. The rankings include men's D2 teams spanning the entire country across all conferences. During that time, SHU made 3 trips to the conference championship game, taking home the title in 2016. They made 2 trips to the USA rugby national tournament (2016 and 2018) and were runners up in the Beast of the East collegiate rugby tournament in 2018. Undoubtedly, their ranking was bolstered by the 2016 season, the most successful in SHU history when they went undefeated in conference play and were ranked as high as #12 nationally.
