While they did not have as much success as they would have liked, the team is hopeful for success throughout the rest of their season and that is evident in their statements below:
"I think we have really strong players and it'll take time for us to really gel and play together as one, but I think this was a huge improvement from last tournament." - Auriel Kyere, So., RS
"I think with having such a large group of girls on the team, we have faced difficulty in forming connections on and off the court, but this PC tournament was a step in the right direction. The freshman are finally warming up to the upperclassmen and truly bring a large amount of talent to this team. This weekend I noticed when we play our game and communicate on the court, we can really be a threat. After three consecutive tournaments, I do however feel our biggest downfall is ourselves and the lack of energy can be extremely influential to our games." - Charlie Paul, Jr., Setter
"I thought the chemistry of the team has really improved from the Uconn tournament; we were playing together more this tournament. As a team we really stepped up when we needed to, we pushed ourselves and I think that's something we should be proud of. Our defense looked really well this weekend; we weren't letting balls hit the ground without moving towards them." - Kristina Turner, Jr., Setter
