This past weekend, the Sacred Heart X-Men rugby club hosted the inaugural Peter DeSalvo Memorial Rugby 7s Tournament on the Park Ave. Field.  The men went up against the University of Hartford and Stony Brook University in a 2 round "round-robin" tournament, followed by playoff and championship matches.  In total the X-Men played 6 games and won 5, coming in 2^nd place overall.  Notable players included Captain Vinny Bassolino, seniors Will Todd, Christian Appel, Jeo Valere, Anthony Alliegro, sophomore Cody Kelsey, and freshmen James Molloy, Jeremy Suhr, and Xavier Moore.  This was the final match for the graduating seniors and we wish them luck in the future.
