Football wasn't the only sport playing on Sunday. The Sacred Heart Women's Club Basketball Team traveled to Montclair State for a non-conference double header. The Pioneers won game one 48-44. The team was led by Taylor Gibbs with 15 points, Dayna Mercogliano with 10, Elizabeth Portelli with 6, Lillian Gentile with 5, Alyssa Alfieri with 4, Carloyn Frankle and Skyler Felice with 3, and Alexa Medley with 2.

Sacred Heart lost game two 53-44. The Pioneers were led by Taylor Gibbs with 14 points, Elizabeth Portelli and Lillian Gentile with 7, Alexa Medley with 4, Alyssa Alfieri and Dayn Mercogliano with 3, and Carolyn Frankle and Grace Venezia each had 2 points.

Sacred Heart is now 15-2 and returns home on Saturday February 17th for a two conference games against Providence with tip-off for game one set for 11:30 at the Valentine Health and Recreation Center.
