Pioneers Head to Nationals for the First Time in Women's Lacrosse

Fairfield, CT-Sacred Heart Women's Lacrosse is making history as they head to nationals for the first time ever, all the way in Round Rock, Texas. The Pioneers plan to bring even more heat to Texas from May 8-11, as they hope to continue their winning-streak from a remarkable regular season.

The WCLO 2024 National Tournament consists of teams from near and far, including Fairfield, Fordham, Loyola, and even Grand Valley State University in Michigan. The Pioneers will play GV State in their first round of the tournament and look to advance to the final round to bring the championship back home to Connecticut.

The Pioneers have proven themselves this past season with an impressive record of 6-1, consistently making great plays both on and off the field. We look forward to cheering them on while in Texas and can't wait to see what they do.
