Women's Basketball Handles Stags in Weekend Matchup

The Sacred Heart Women's Club Basketball Team improved to 11-0 on the season with two wins against Fairfield on Saturday. Sacred Heart won game one 63-58. The Pioneers were led in game one by Rebecca Kelly with 17 points, Carolyn Frankle with 15 points, Liz Portelli with 13 points, Natalia Zappone with 7 points, Rina Damon with 4 points, Grace Venezia with 3 points, and Dayna Mercogliano and Gracie Patriarco with 2 points each

Sacred Heart won game two 52-47. The Pioneers were led by Taylor Gibbs with 15 points, Carolyn Frankle and Liz Portelli with 7 points, Faith Erasmo and Rebecca Kelly with 6 points each, Lily Gentile and Nicole Turco with 5 points, and Gracie Patriarco with 1 point.

Sacred Heart improves to 11-0 on the season, 10-0 in league play and travels to Stonehill on Sunday February 9^th for two league games starting at 12 pm.
