About Us
The Women's Club Softball program at Sacred Heart will begin its 15th season as a club sport in the 2023-2024 academic year. As of the 2021-2022 academic school year a second team was added, the first school in the country to have two teams participate in the NCSA at the same school.
Both teams are very competitive and made up of as many as 25 women who are on the official NCSA Roster.
Both D1 and D2 are members of the National Club Softball Association (NCSA) which consists of 110+ teams throughout the country. Division 2 competes in the newly founded District 1- South Conference and play against Fairfield University, Montclair State University, University of New Haven, Hofstra University, and Iona University.
Each team plays opponents in 3 game series throughout the fall and spring semesters. We will also look to play in non-conference games as an opportunity to get our players more game action.
The Division 2 team enters it's first year in a new conference and is looking to qualify for regionals in Spring 2024.
