The Sacred Heart Club Baseball NCBA D3 team is a member of the NCBA (National Club Baseball Association) and currently competes in the leagues District I Region
The Pioneers will participate in both a fall and spring season that will feature games against Hofstra, LIU, Iona, and other local club baseball teams throughout the Tri-State and New England area.
The Pioneers practice and play all home games at Veterans Field at Veterans Memorial Park in Bridgeport, CT. Veterans Field is home to both the Pioneers Division 1 and Club Baseball teams. The facility features enclosed dugouts, an open back stop, both home and away bullpens and a 4 tunnel batting cage.
The team practices three times a week during the weekdays and compete in games on the weekends with doubleheaders on either Saturday and/or Sunday. Typically the team plays roughly anywhere between 15-20 games throughout the academic year with an opportunity for postseason play depending on performance.
