The Sacred Heart Club Baseball NECBA team is a member of the NECBA (New England Club Baseball Association) and currently competes in the leagues South Division
The Pioneers play a fall season where they compete against different universities around Connecticut and Massachusetts. Division opponents include: Connecticut College, University of New Haven, and Yale University,
The Pioneers practice and play all home games at Veterans Field at Veterans Memorial Park in Bridgeport, CT. Veterans Field is home to both the Pioneers Division 1 and Club Baseball teams. The facility features enclosed dugouts, an open back stop, both home and away bullpens and a 4 tunnel batting cage.
The team practices three times a week during the weekdays and compete in games on the weekends with doubleheaders on either Saturday and/or Sunday. Typically the team plays roughly anywhere between 10-15 games throughout the fall with an opportunity for postseason play depending on performance.
