The Sacred Heart Women's Flag Football team is a member of the Jets ECAC (Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference) Flag Football League which was founded in February 2026. The league is funded by the generous support of the Betty Wold Johnson Foundation.
The Pioneers play both a fall and spring season where they compete against different universities around the Northeast and Metropolitan area. Conference opponents include: Allegheny College, Franciscan University, Long Island University, Mercy University, Montclair State University, Kean University, Penn State - Schuylkill, Mount St. Mary's University, Eastern University, Mercyhurst University, Centenary University, Marymount University, St. Joseph University, and Wagner College
The Pioneers practice and play all home games at Campus Field. Campus Field sits between the William H. Pitt Center and the Bobby Valentine Center and serves as home to multiple Division I and Club Sport teams.
The team practices three times a week during the weekdays and compete in games on the weekends with games on Saturday and or Sunday. The team is required to play 12 league games with the potential of postseason opportunities depending on play.
