Paul Rychlik is the Director of Divisional Budgets & Special Projects and Associate Director of Intercollegiate Chess at Sacred Heart University (SHU). He became a chess enthusiast back during the Bobby Fischer – Boris Spassky chess championship of the 1970’s. Paul, a SHU alum, works with his colleague Bill Sweeney on running day-to-day Club Chess operations, including planning on campus tournaments and events and in the recruitment of future SHU student chess players.
