Sacred Heart Club Sports

Corey Dybas is the DIII assistant club ice hockey coach under head coach Jordy Hagwell. Although this is Coach Dybas’ second year coaching for the team, he has been at Sacred Heart University since 2015. He earned a B.S. in athletic training and then completed his M.S. in exercise science and nutrition two years after graduating. While working towards his graduate degree in the years of 2018 through 2020, Corey was the club sports athletic training graduate assistant to head athletic trainer Stephanie Watson. 

On top of coaching the team now, Corey played club hockey throughout his three years of undergrad here. He loves being able to connect with his players and understand each of them since he was a player himself. Coach Dybas is incredibly determined, a positive thinker, and can’t wait for his team to be back on the ice!
