Last Sunday, the Sacred Heart men's bowling team competed at Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. This tier-2 event, hosted by William Patterson was a grueling 35 Baker game marathon which lasted nearly 8 hours.
Baker bowling is when 5 players share a game total with each player rotating so leadoff bowls the 1st and 6th frames, 2nd bowls the 2nd and 7th and so on to your anchor who bowls the 5th and 10th frames.
This tournament featured several nationally ranked Varsity teams in the 10-team field including William Patterson, Rochester institute of technology and Stony Brook.
