The Sacred Heart Men's Club Basketball team completed its portion of the fall 2024 season with a doubleheader sweep over Iona University on Sunday, December 8th at the Valentine Health and Recreation Center. 

Game one of the doubleheader saw the Pioneers defeat the Gaels by a score of 62-57. Senior Nicholas Cupo and Freshman David Berlin led the Pioneers in scoring with 14 points apiece. Berlin led the scoring charge for SHU in the second half with 8 points. Senior Jack Colby netted 12 points in the contest as well. 

In the second game of the contest, Senior center Dillon Kneucker led the scoring charge with 19 points while Junior Antonio Leone and Freshman David Berlin netted 12 points apiece. Senior Jack Colby also scored 11 points that boosted the Pioneers to a 62-57 victory. 

The Pioneers completed their 2024 campaign with an overall record of 6-2 and will look to continue their winning ways in 2025 when they resume action against Yale University at the Valentine Health and Recreation Center on Saturday January 18^th , 2025.
