The Sacred Heart Men's Club Basketball team is riding high on a 5 game win streak after defeating in state foe Yale University in two hard fought battles on Saturday.
Game one saw the Bulldogs and Pioneers go back and forth and ultimately the Pioneers pulled out a 67-65 victory in overtime. The team was led by
Matt Daly who recorded 30 points in the contest.
Game two proved to be just as hard of a battle as the first game. The Pioneers who at one point trailed by as many as 15 points came back and walked away with a 56-51 win in regulation.
The Pioneers will travel to in state rival Quinnipiac on Saturday for a doubleheader with tip off set for 12pm.
