The Sacred Heart Club Baseball team dropped the first game of their spring break trip to Central Michigan on Monday, March 3rd at Public Sports Complex.
Freshman Braden Golden was lights out for the Pioneers after relieving Junior starter
Justin Pesco exited the game early due to shoulder tightness. Golden went six innings and allowed eight hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out four and walking none. Pesco gave up four hits and four runs over 1 inning of work while walking three batters.

Michael Civetta and
Luke Blasi lead the Pioneers offense with two hits each. Blasi drove in all four of the Pioneer's runners in the loss. Junior

Andrew Civetta had a hit of their own during the contest.
The Pioneers will face off against #1 Penn State tomorrow Tuesday, March 4th at 1 pm (CST).
