Babylon, NY – The SHU Club Bowling team finished fifth out of six teams over the weekend in the Metro Classic in Babylon, NY. The Pioneers had a total pin fall of 5,701. In the single division, the Pioneers were once again led by Austin Moy, who placed fifth out of fourty-seven bowlers with 370 total pins over two games. In the double division, Thomas Peper and Andrew Santiago placed 12th with a total pin fall of 669 while Austin Moy and Jimmy Morris placed 13th with a total pin fall of 658. The Metro Classic was the final tournament for the 2018-19 campaign, with first year Head Coach Thomas Bianco leading a successful season. The Pioneers will graduate two important members of the team, including Senior Austin Moy and Graduate Student Jimmy Morris.
