The Sacred Heart AAU Hockey Team had a busy weekend, playing a total of three games securing victories in all three over this weekend. The first game on Friday, February 2nd proved to be victorious despite the relentless efforts from Fordham. SHU emerged victorious with a narrow 4-3 win in overtime. Luke Botti netted two crucial goals, Eddie Jackson added one to the tally, and Captain Jason Bonante sealed the deal with an overtime winner.

On Saturday February 3rd SHU faced off against conference rival Hofstra University. The game remained tightly contested until the third period when the Pioneers broke through, scoring three goals to secure a 5-2 triumph. Sam Weiner, Alex Giuliano, Jack Kinahan, Brendan Murphy, and Jake Calanni all contributed to the scoring efforts.

On Sunday February 4th AAU played their final home game against Columbia University. The Pioneers honored Brendan O'Donnel and Ross Beck in their final home game as it was Senior Night for our 2 players. The team demonstrated exceptional cohesion, dominating the game with a resounding 9-2 victory. Jack Kinahan, Sam Weiner, Jason Bonante, Barry Burke, Eddie Jackson, Will Hayes, Jake Calanni, and TJ Bayer all found the back of the net, showcasing the team's depth and offensive skill.

With these impressive victories, the SHU Club Sports AAU Men's Hockey team has positioned themselves favorably for the national tournament, exemplifying their resilience and skill throughout the weekend's matchups.
