SHU 54 University of New Haven 51

Sacred Heart Club Tennis won its first match of the year over University of New Haven with a final score of 54-51. In singles, Juliana Sabatini picked up the win in straight sets 6-2, 6-0 and Mark Khalil  fell in straight sets 4-6, 1-6. Rebecca Roe and Skylar Serenson 6-2, 7-5 and Audrey Belliveau and Isabel Bandon 7-5, 6-0 raced to wins in women's doubles while Robbie Spelman and Brandon Yoo picked up the win in men's doubles 6-3, 6-2. Newcomers Antonio Mancini and Adam Podesky fell 1-8 in doubles. The mixed pair of Michelle Rosen and Brandon Yoo came up short 2-6, 7-6 (5-10) in a tiebreaker and Bella Conti and Roman Pearl dropped the other mixed set 2-1, 1-6.  Conti won her singles set 8-0.

Next match is tentatively set for 10/16 vs CCSU location to be determined.
