The Sacred Heat Women's Club Basketball team won two games at Providence on Sunday. The Pioneers won game one 42-36. Sacred Heart was led by Taylor Gibbs with 11 points, Erin Hare and Dayne Mercogliano with 9 points each, Liz Gonzalez with 5 and Kristen Cuff and Alyssa Alfieri with 3 points each.

Sacred Heart won game two 49-47. Gracie Patriarco made a lay-up with 9 seconds left to give Sacred Heart the lead. Great defense in the closing seconds secured the win for the Pioneers. Sacred Heart was led in game two by Taylor Gibbs with 12 points. Erin Hare and Gracie Patriarco with 6 points each and Skyler Felice, Dayna Mercogliano, and Liz Gonzalez with 4 points each.

Sacred Heart improve to 7-1 in league play and 13-1 overall. The Pioneers play home on Saturday against Brown at the Pitt Center. The first game starts at 4:30 pm.
