The Sacred Heart Women's Club Basketball team opened the 2025-2026 season with two wins at Yale on Sunday. The Pioneers won game one 52-51 on a
Faith Erasmo layup with 6 seconds left. Sacred Heart was led by
Rebecca Kelly with 22 points and 12 rebounds,
Faith Erasmo with 11 points, 3 steals and 3 assists, Gigi Gracia with 4 points,
Ella Giguere with 4 points and 5 rebounds, Mia Menzies with 4 points and 3 steals
Elliana Nassy with 3 points, and
Carolyn Frankle and
Taylor Gibbs each had 2 points.
Sacred won game two 51-41. The Pioneers were led by
Elliana Nassy with 10 points,
Nicole Turco with 10 points and 5 steals,
Rebecca Kelly with 8 points and 5 rebounds, Lily Gentile with 7 points and 3 rebounds, Gigi Gracia with 6 points and 5 rebounds,
Taylor Gibbs with 4 points and 3 rebounds, and
Faith Erasmo,
Ella Giguere, and
Krista Perry each had two points.
Sacred Heart has their home opener on Sunday November 9
th against Adelphi with the first game at 12 pm.
