The Sacred Heart Women's Club Basketball team competed in the New England Regionals this past weekend in Boston. Sacred Heart won the quarterfinal game against Boston University 64-61. The Pioneers were led by Liz Portelli with 21 points, Faith Erasmo with 13 points, Rebecca Kelly and Taylor Gibbs with 10 points, Lily Gentile with 6, and Carolyn Frankle and Nicole Turco each with 2 points.

Sacred Heart advanced to the semi-finals and lost to BC 67-56. Faith Erasmo led Sacred Heart with 20 points, Liz Portelli and Natalia Zappone each had 7 points, Rebecca Kelly and Carolyn Frankle with 6 points each, Gracie Patriarco with 3 points and Taylor Gibbs had 2 points.

Sacred Heart secured an at-large bid to the Nationals and will play in Erie, Pa April 11-13th.
