The Sacred Heart Women's Club Basketball split two games with visiting UCONN this weekend. Sacred Heart lost the first game 52-46 in overtime. The Pioneers were led by Liz Gonzalez with 9 points, Taylor Gibbs, Alexa Medley, and Gracie Patriarco with 6 points apiece, and Erin Hare, Kristen Cuff, and Kyleigh Short with 4 points each.

            Sacred Heart bounced back from the game one loss with a 64-54 win in game two. The Pioneers were led by Taylor Gibbs with 14 points, Alyssa Alfieri with 9 points, Alexa Medley with 8, Lily Gentile with 7 and Kyleigh Short with 6.

            Sacred Heart is 5-1 in league play and 9-1 overall. The Pioneers play at home on Saturday vs. Yale with the first gaming starting at 3 pm.
