The Sacred Heart D3 Men's Club Hockey team extended their win streak to 17 games after defeating Steven's Institute of Technology 7-1 on Saturday February 10th at the Prudental Center. With the win the Pioneers improve to 18-1 on the season and 13-0 in conference heading into the final weekend of the regular season. 

The Pioneers were led by Freshman Brady Marszalek  (2 goals and an assist), Graduate Austin Jellison (2 goals), Sophomore Declan Lovett (1 goal), Sophomore Ryan Martin (1 goal), Freshman Zach MacLeod (1 goal), and Freshman Justin Bernhard (2 assist). Junior Goalie Connor Smith faced 24 shots and allowed 1 goal in the contest.

The Pioneers are back in action on Friday night when they travel to non-conference opponent UMass with puck drop set for 8:30 PM before concluding their regular season against conference foe Kings Point Saturday night with puck drop set for 10:00 PM. Sacred Heart has already secured their bid to the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference playoffs with the #1 overall seed.
