Three students competed in the CSCA 2025 New England Rapid Championship held on November 22 at the East Hartford-Raymond Library. 36 players from six states took part in the event, including four titled players. The tournament consisted of 10 rounds of play at G/10+3 time control. SHU senior, Aidan Shamas, took 3rd place in the U1800 section and SHU freshman, Sam Deeney, took 3rd place on tiebreaks in the U1200 section.
