The Sacred Heart Women's Club Basketball Team returned to action on Saturday with two league games vs. Providence. The Pioneers lost game one 66-53. They were led by Rebecca Kelly with 14 points, Taylor Gibbs with 12 points, Faith Erasmo with 6, Carolyn Frankle and Natalia Zappone with 5 points, Gracie Patriarco and Liz Portelli with 4 points each and Nicole Turco had 2 points.

Sacred Heart bounced back to win 68-66 in game two on a Carolyn Frankle floater with 3 seconds left. The Pioneers were led by Faith Erasmo with 16 points, Taylor Gibbs and Gracie Patriarco  with 12 points, Liz Portelli and Rebecca Kelly with 8 points each, Carolyn Frankle with 6, and Lily Gentile and Natalia Zappone each had 3.

Sacred Heart improves to 11-1 in league play and 12-1 overall. The Pioneers play at home on Saturday March 15^th vs Assumption at 12 pm.
