The Sacred Heart University Figure Skating Team hosted and competed at the 2025 Pioneer Challenge Cup from March 7-9, concluding their competitive season. Ultimately, the team finished in fifth place with a cumulative 202 points and 18 podium placements. 
            The event began on Friday, March 7. In the Juvenile Short Program event, Emma Whitehead (Jr) placed seventh. 
            In the Novice Short Program event, Jillian Falletta (So) placed first, and Alyssa Dunn (Grad) placed fourth. 
            In group A of the Junior Short Program event, Amanda Smentkowski (Jr) placed fifth, and Sophia Iannelli (Jr) placed sixth. In group B of the level, Sydney Robinson (Jr) placed second and Sarah Decillis (So) placed fifth. 
            In the Senior Short Program event, Isabel Munini (So) placed fifth, concluding the team's first day of competition. 
            The first event on Saturday was the Juvenile Free Dance, in which Whitehead placed third. 
            Dunn placed second in the Novice Free Dance event , and Smentkowski placed fourth. 
            In the Intermediate Team Manuevers event, Sacred Heart placed sixth. The team was represented by Falletta, Natalie Castelli (Grad), Erin Regan (Grad), and Ashley McCrady (Grad). 
            In group A of Excel Juvenile, Regan placed third. In group B, Sophia Fortunado (Fr) placed eighth.
In Excel Intermediate, group B, Whitehead placed fourth. 
In the Excel Novice level, Dunn placed seventh and Falletta placed eighth. 
In the Low Team Manuevers event, Sacred Heart placed first. The representatives for the team were Fortunado, Whitehead, Valentina Massoni (Sr) and Juliana Prete (Sr).
In group A of Excel Junior, Robinson placed second. In group B, Iannelli placed eighth.
In group B of Preliminary Pattern Dance, Prete placed first. In group C, Whitehead placed fourth. 
Concluding the second day of events, Dunn received a gold medal in the Silver Pattern Dance event.
Beginning the final day of events, on Sunday, March 9, Decillis placed fourth in Pre-Bronze Pattern Dance, group B. 
In group C of Excel Preliminary, Massoni placed third.
In Championship Junior, Amanda Smentkowski placed second.
In group A of Excel Pre-Preliminary, Gianna Cammarano (Sr) placed fourth. In group B, Prete placed second.
Concluding the event, High Team Manuevers placed fourth, represented by Dunn, Iannelli, Robinson, Smentkowski and Jenna Kilpatrick (So).
