The Sacred Heart University Figure Skating team competed in the Northeast Intercollegiate Classic from March 14–15 in Utica, New York. The team finished 5th with 215 points and 19 podium placements.
On day one of events, Mikayla Garot (Fr) placed 1st in Pre-Juvenile Women Free Skate Group A, and Sophia Fortunato (So) placed 3rd in Pre-Juvenile Women Free Skate Group B. Samantha Hudson (Fr) placed 3rd in Preliminary Plus Women Free Skate.
In the Junior Women Short Program, Amanda Smentkowski (Sr) placed 4th, Sydney Robinson (Sr) placed 5th, and Sophia Ianelli (Sr) placed 8th. In the Juvenile Women Short Program, Emma Whitehead (Sr) placed 3rd. In the Novice Women Short Program, Jillian Falletta (Jr) placed 6th.
Tess Donlan (Fr) placed 2nd in the Pre-Bronze Solo Pattern Dance Group B. In Bronze Solo Pattern Dance, Sarah Decillis (Jr) placed 2nd. In Silver Solo Pattern Dance, Alyssa Dunn (Grad) placed 3rd. In Gold Solo Pattern Dance, Garot placed 7th, and in International Solo Pattern Dance, she placed 3rd.
High Team Maneuvers, represented by Jenna Kilpatrick (Sr), Isabel Munini (Sr), Kaitlyn Brittell (Fr), Smentkowski, Dunn, and Ianelli, placed 6th. Intermediate Team Maneuvers, represented by Olivia Farro (Fr), Falletta, Garot, Whitehead, and Donlan, also placed 6th. To conclude day one of events, Low Team Maneuvers, represented by Ashlyn Incantalupo (Fr), Fortunato, and Hudson, placed 4th.
On day two of events, Gianna Cammarano (Grad) placed 2nd in Pre-Preliminary Women Free Skate Group A. In Intermediate Women Free Skate Group A, Whitehead placed 4th. In Novice Women Free Skate, Falletta placed 3rd. In Juvenile Women Free Skate Group B, Incantalupo placed 6th.
In Junior Women Free Skate, Robinson placed 1st, Smentkowski placed 6th, and Brittell placed 8th, while in Junior Women Championship Free Skate, Ianelli placed 4th. In Senior Women Free Skate, Munini placed 4th.
In Novice Solo Free Dance, Dunn placed 4th, while Smentkowski placed 5th. In Intermediate Solo Free Dance, Falletta placed 3rd. In Juvenile Solo Free Dance, Whitehead placed 1st. In Senior Solo Free Dance Group B, Decillis placed 6th.
