The Sacred Heart Club Baseball team dramatically took Sunday's game, with an 8-5 walk-off victory over UConn Club Baseball. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the ninth when junior captain
Thomas Kenn homered to left field, scoring three runs.

Thomas Parrish earned the win for the Pioneers. The southpaw allowed one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out none and walking one. Senior
Patrick Mahan led things off on the hill for Sacred Heart. The left-handed pitcher surrendered four hits and three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking six. Freshman Braden Golden threw one and one-third innings of shutout ball for Sacred Heart in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking one.

Brian McGovern, Kenn, and Blasi each collected one hit for the Pioneers. Kenn went 1-for-3 at the plate as the right-handed hitter led the team with three runs batted in.
The Pioneers are back in action this weekend when they travel to Boston, Massachusetts, to take on Northeastern in a conference series. The first pitch of Saturday's doubleheader is set for 10 am with Sunday's nine-inning games first pitch is scheduled for 10 am as well. The games will be played at Maplewood Field, Malden, Massachusetts.
