Sacred Heart Club Baseball D3 Wins Series Against Hofstra University

Golden was dominant on the hill, as the starting pitcher rang up 13 strikeouts in Sacred Heart Club Baseball D3's 12-2 victory over Hofstra University on Sunday. Golden surrendered five hits and two runs over five innings while walking two. Sacred Heart Club Baseball D3 scored nine runs in the fourth inning on the way to victory. Oakley grounded out, scoring one run, Civetta homered to right field, scoring two runs, Fressle was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, DiGiovanna was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Civetta drew a walk, scoring one run, and Oakley doubled, scoring three runs. Oakley, the number seven hitter for Sacred Heart Club Baseball D3, led the way with four runs batted in.
