Congratulations to our Athlete of the Month, Michelle McCabe!

Michelle is a freshman on the women's club hockey team and brings a wonderful energy to the team.  On the ice Michelle has proven herself as a versatile player.  She started off the season playing wing and recently was able to transition to playing defense.  She does a great job holding the blue line and helping to generate offense from the point.  Defensively she is always strong in front of the net, muscling out opponents and is aggressive in the corners.  This past weekend against University of New Hampshire, Michelle tallied a goal and was key to the Pioneers victory. Off the ice Michelle is always lifting up her teammates, coaches, and trainers and her bubbly personality is contagious.  She's one of the loudest ones cheering on the bench and is consistently a positive presence in practices. 

You can catch Michelle and her teammates at the Martire Family Arena on Friday February 16th when they take on Assumption University at 7pm and Sunday February 18th vs University of Maryland.
