Madison Bakos has been named the second coach in Sacred Heart Club Women's Ice Hockey history. Bakos is originally from Hamden, CT, where she lettered three years at Hamden High. Her skills on the ice earned her a spot at DIII Nichols College, where she also excelled on the lacrosse field. After graduating Nichols with a B.S. in Sport Management Madison was named the head coach for the Shoreline Sharks U16/U19 split year team and was an assistant coach for the Shoreline Sharks U16 Tier II team. Before being named the head coach for the Pioneers, Madison was the assistant coach for the Hamden High Girls hockey team for four seasons, where she helped lead the Dragons to their first-ever conference title since the program's inception 20 years ago. The Pioneers are happy to have Madison join our program and cannot wait to see what she'll accomplish with the team.
